On the 17th of July this year’s World Series of Poker No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em final poker online table was decided with a pair of pocket aces. Jordan Smith busted out winning a grand total of close to 900k USD and the stage was set. Entering this year’s final poker online table will be Darvin Moon, a 45 year old logger from Oakland, Maryland in the lead with 60 million in chips. But don’t count out the other casino online players. Phil Ivey the poker “Brat” is sitting in 7th place grinding back after a tough day at the tables. He lost a lot, but came back with enough to have a viable stack when November rolls around. Also joining the ranks will be Kevin Schaffel of Coral Springs, Florida, a newcomer to the scene; Antoine “Tonio” Staut from Saint Martin des Chapain, France; Joseph Cada of Shelby Township, Michigan; Steven Begleiter from Chappaqua, New York; James Akenhead of London; Eric Buchman of Valley Stream New York; and Jeff Shulman from Las Vegas, Nevada. If these names don’t sound familiar don’t be surprised, but come November, they’ll all get their chance to be in the spotlight of the WSOP competing for the bracelet and the right to be called this year’s champion. And I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t care if you didn’t know their names; they’re all millionaires now anyway.
